Is this job info correct?

At Caris, we understand that cancer is an ugly word—a word no one wants to hear, but one that connects us all. That’s why we’re not just transforming cancer care—we’re changing lives. We introduced precision medicine to the world and built an industry around the idea that every patient deserves answers as unique as their DNA. Backed by cutting-edge molecular science and AI, we ask ourselves every day: “What would I do if this patient were my mom?” That question drives everything we do. But our mission doesn’t stop with cancer. We're pushing the frontiers of medicine and leading a revolution in healthcare—driven by innovation, compassion, and purpose. Join us in our mission to improve the human condition across multiple diseases. If you're passionate about meaningful work and want to be part of something bigger than yourself, Caris is where your impact begins. Position Summary Caris Life Sciences is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and collaborative leader to serve as Head of Precision Oncology Strategy & Execution. This role leads the strategy, growth, and operational execution of the Precision Oncology Alliance (POA), a national network of leading academic cancer centers, health systems, and community oncology practices. This leader will strengthen relationships with cancer center executives, principal investigators, key opinion leaders, and healthcare leaders while selectively expanding the POA through strategic institutional partnerships. The role will translate these partnerships into measurable outcomes across multi-institutional research, real-world evidence, clinical trials, product and biomarker validation, multimodal data and AI utilization, clinical integrations, and precision medicine adoption. Working across Medical Affairs, Research, BioPharma, Commercial, Business Development, Product, Clinical Development, and Executive Leadership, this individual will align strategy and execution to create value for POA member institutions, physicians, patients, biopharma partners, and Caris. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the long-term POA strategy, annual operating plans, governance framework, and institutional engagement plans. Serve as a senior executive sponsor for POA member institutions, building and strengthening relationships with cancer center directors, department chairs, research leaders, principal investigators, health system executives, key opinion leaders, and national oncology organizations. Expand and strengthen strategic institutional partnerships through molecular testing, research collaboration, clinical trials, data access, education, technology integration, and other precision medicine initiatives. Lead executive steering committees and governance forums to drive alignment, accountability, and measurable outcomes. Lead multi-institutional research initiatives, including real-world evidence studies, registries, translational research, investigator-sponsored projects, and clinical trial collaborations. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support the validation of products, biomarkers, signatures, and companion diagnostics and drive abstracts, publications, and scientific presentations. Represent Caris and the POA at scientific meetings, advisory boards, and industry forums while identifying emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics. Expand institutional use of Caris molecular data, multimodal datasets, and AI capabilities to support research, biomarker discovery, cohort identification, and clinical trial optimization. Advance data-sharing initiatives and clinical integrations, including EHR, ordering, results delivery, and research workflows. Develop early-adopter champions and pilot programs to accelerate adoption of new products, workflows, and precision medicine initiatives. Increase participation, enrollment, and patient access across Caris-sponsored research and clinical programs. Establish scalable processes for opportunity management, project prioritization, performance tracking, risk management, and reporting. Align cross-functional stakeholders around shared goals, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, privacy, ethical, and scientific standards. Build and lead a high-performing team focused on strategic partnerships, scientific collaboration, institutional activation, and program execution. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in science, healthcare, business, or a related field preferred. 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in oncology, precision medicine, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or a related healthcare or life sciences field, including executive-level partnership, sales, or account leadership. Strong knowledge of precision oncology, molecular profiling, clinical and translational research, and real-world evidence generation. Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-suite executives, cancer center leaders, department chairs, key opinion leaders, and other senior stakeholders. Proven success developing strategic partnerships with academic medical centers, cancer centers, health systems, or research organizations. Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across medical, research, commercial, and operational teams. Strong strategic planning, business development, relationship management, negotiation, communication, and execution skills, including the ability to translate complex scientific and clinical concepts for diverse audiences. Successful completion of the company’s pre-employment process, including a criminal background check, credit check, drug screening, and reference verification. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree preferred (MBA, PhD, PharmD, MD, MPH, MS, or equivalent). Other Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50–60%) to engage POA member institutions, attend scientific meetings, and support strategic initiatives nationwide. Conditions of Employment: Individual must successfully complete pre-employment process, which includes criminal background check, drug screening, credit check ( applicable for certain positions ) and reference verification.
