Many of Hubexo’s largest customers know us for one part of our portfolio. You’ll lead the team that gives them a reason to choose more.

You’ll help customers find more value in our data, insight and software, turning their business needs into relevant expansion, upsell and cross-sell.

Job Title: Vice President, Key Account Management

Location: Newcastle Hub One Trinity Gardens

Hybrid: 3 days hub attendance 2 WFH

Travel: Regular UK & Ireland customer travel

Compensation: Competitive Basic + Uncapped Commission

You’ll lead a team of 11, including one manager, responsible for c.€3.8m of revenue across around 9,000 UK & Ireland customer accounts. The annual growth target is at least 10%.

Reporting to our Commercial President, UK & Ireland, you’ll sit on the UKI commercial leadership team and shape our account growth strategy. You’ll have authority over pricing and discounting within an agreed commercial framework, and hiring within approved headcount.

A little about us:

Hubexo connects the construction market with the data, insight and software it needs to build better.

Architects and specifiers use our design and specification tools. Manufacturers use our product information to get their products specified in design. Contractors and suppliers use our project information platform to find and win work.

Your team will understand where those needs connect and help customers make better use of the products relevant to their business.

What you’ll own

• Existing-customer growth, net revenue retention and the expansion pipeline. Customer Success owns renewals and retention; you’ll work together to grow the value of our customer relationships.

• Team performance and development: coaching your manager and account managers, setting clear expectations and having direct performance conversations.

• Account growth plans that translate customer priorities into expansion, upsell and cross-product revenue.

• Senior and C-suite customer relationships, complex enterprise deals and negotiations, including global expansion with UKI-based customers.

• Reliable forecasting, pipeline management and clear commercial reporting to the executive team.

• Collaboration across New Business, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Sales Enablement, Operations and Finance / Revenue Operations to deliver account growth.

Your early priorities

In your first six months, you’ll build a clear picture of the customer base, team capability and growth potential. You’ll establish account plans for the top 250 customers, a reliable forecasting rhythm and targets for global expansion within the existing UKI base.

Over the first year, success means delivering the expansion target, improving net revenue retention, increasing relevant adoption across product areas and building a team that performs consistently.

A little about you -

You’ve grown revenue across a sizeable B2B customer portfolio and know how to turn account potential into consistent commercial performance.

You’ll bring:

• Experience leading account management, key account or customer-growth teams, including developing people through managers.

• A strong record of delivering expansion, upsell and cross-sell revenue against meaningful targets.

• Experience building senior customer relationships, negotiating and leading complex enterprise deals.

• Sound commercial judgement, with the ability to use CRM data, forecasting and pipeline insight to set priorities and improve performance.

• A coaching leadership style that combines clear accountability with effective collaboration across teams.

Experience in SaaS, data, information services or another recurring-revenue business would be valuable. Construction or built-environment experience could help.

What you can expect

£150,000 on-target earnings with uncapped commission. Commission is based on team expansion revenue and paid monthly, with accelerators linked to net revenue retention and direct revenue sales.

You’ll also receive 25 days’ holiday with the option to buy or sell up to five days, birthday leave, a volunteer day, pension with life assurance, 24/7 remote GP access and an employee assistance programme, eye-care support and a cycle-to-work scheme.

This role is based at our Newcastle hub, with a minimum of three days per week in the office and regular customer travel across the UK & Ireland.

What to expect

Our process includes a commercial assessment before interview. We’ll explain what to expect in advance. The interviews will also give you time to understand the team, the role and the commercial challenge you’d be taking on.

Ready to build your future?

If you’ve led customer growth at scale, bring that experience to a role where you can shape the strategy, develop the team and lead its delivery.
