VP M&A Origination

EPL Advisory is a boutique M&A firm in Miami specializing in founder-centric sell-side transactions across B2B technology. Senior partners lead every mandate from origination through close. We take on a limited number of engagements and execute at institutional standards. We are looking for a senior sell-side banker to own mandate origination and execution as VP of Sales M&A. You will work directly alongside EPL's founding partners, lead your own deal pipeline, and help build the firm's sell-side platform in the lower middle market. Compensation is success-fee revenue share only. This is a partner-level role structured for an experienced originator, not an execution resource. Source and win exclusive sell-side mandates from founder and family-owned businesses in the $5M to $50M EV range Lead full sell-side processes end-to-end: CIPs, financial models, buyer qualification, management presentations, LOI and purchase agreement negotiation Build and maintain coverage of LMM-active PE sponsors and strategic acquirers across your target verticals Partner with EPL leadership on firm strategy, process standards, and platform development Mentor team members as the practice scales 10+ years of investment banking experience with a client acquisition M&A focus Demonstrated track record originating mandates independently, not solely executing deals sourced by others Deep sector knowledge in one or more of B2B tech Ability to guide owners through high-stakes, emotionally complex sale processes with credibility and composure Autonomous operator: able to manage multiple mandates simultaneously without institutional support infrastructure 100% success-fee revenue share (on retainers and success fess). No base salary. Terms negotiated individually based on origination and execution contribution. For a partner closing 3 to 5 transactions annually in this segment, total compensation is commensurate with senior boutique banking.
