VP Region Service - West Region - req1757 OVERVIEW Recognized as the key opinion leader for the region. Directs and ensures cross-functional alignment between Service, Sales, and Operations. Focus is on customer acquisition, retention and satisfaction. Directly responsible for more than $40M in service revenue. Drives region’s Service activities to convert sales bookings into billings. Demonstrates substantial leadership accountable, directly or indirectly, for a region comprised of more than 60 regional and area leadership, administrative and field technical resources. Directly accountable to meet significant CMSU objectives where success or failure considerably and unambiguously impacts CMSU's success or failure. RESPONSIBILITIES This is a remote, home office based position in the USA. Travel will be required to support the business. Ideal location of the selected candidate would be in one of these states: AZ, CA, WA, NV, OR, UT, WY, CO As a key opinion leader, direct and ensure cross-functional alignment between Service, Sales, Operations and the business units to drive business results within an assigned region. Directly impacts CMSU's bottom line success. Develop and implement strategic and operating Service plans consistent with attainment of financial, operational, and customer objectives for a designated region. Includes region P&L responsibility in excess of $40M, growth in market share, margin attainment and asset management. Cultivate and leverage cross-regional, national and headquarters stakeholders and resources to develop winning strategies, overcome challenges, resolve issues, continuously improve business processes and achieve short- and long-term goals. Partner with Sales counterparts to break through barriers and overcome competitive challenges. Ensure that Bookings are effectively converted to Billings, meeting or exceeding budgets, timelines and performance expectations. Establish and maintain effective customer relationships of varying types and sizes, up to and including the C-suite. Drive customer acquisition, monitors, measures and continuously improves customer satisfaction. Own effective resolution of critical customer issues. Build an effective team of more than 100 management, administrative and highly technical employees. Lead with courage, hires for excellence, and develops and retains top talent. Provide product and market feedback to CMSU executives on industry trends, customer requirements and the like. Approximately 20% of time dedicated to special projects assigned each year by the VP of Service. QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of the medical device industry, its products, customers and cycles. Ability to look toward the broadest possible view of issues and challenges. Think globally; discuss multiple aspects of the business and impacts of issues and projects them into the future. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills in leading large and diverse territories and working successfully with varying levels of customers, including the C-suite. Strong knowledge of business practices and procedures, including financials and forecasting. Skillfully negotiate in tough situations, both externally and internally. Demonstrate the ability to win concessions without damaging relationships. Strong presentation skills. Functional computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Proven ability to use tact and diplomacy to develop and maintain internal and external relationships. Effective talent management and team building. Must maintain active motor vehicle/driver's license from the state where the employee resides. 4 Year Bachelor's Degree Equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. 15 years Progressively responsible management experience (preferably in medical imaging), including P& L responsibility years 5 years senior-level Leadership Experience in a medical imaging/high-tech, national service organization, with at least 10 years are field-based Pay Information: Min $172,300 to Max $287,300 DOE About us!
