What will you be doing The Head of EMEA New Business Sales Team leads the development and execution of new business strategies across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, driving revenue growth through market expansion, product launches, and customer acquisition. Reporting to the SVP of EMEA Sales, you will lead a high-performing sales team while fostering strategic partnerships across the organization to unlock new market opportunities and advance industry benchmarking initiatives. • Lead and mentor the EMEA new business sales team, setting performance targets and driving accountability across all regions and market segments • Develop and execute new business growth strategies, identifying and penetrating untapped market segments and customer verticals • Collaborate with Business Development division to drive benchmark advocacy initiatives, ensuring market stakeholder engagement and industry positioning • Partner with Editorial teams to ensure alignment between new product offerings and content strategy, enabling market-relevant solutions • Work closely with Sales Sector Specialists to tailor go-to-market approaches for specific commodity markets (energy, metals, etc.) and customer segments • Coordinate with Consulting teams to develop integrated solutions combining data, analytics, and advisory services for complex customer needs • Manage relationships with key customers and prospects, leading negotiations for significant deals and contract renewals • Track market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy and identify new revenue opportunities Cross-Functional Collaboration This role requires active collaboration with multiple internal functions: Business Development: Work on benchmark advocacy, market positioning, and industry participation to strengthen credibility and drive customer acquisition Editorial: Ensure new business initiatives are supported by relevant content and market intelligence, embedding product offerings into editorial strategy Sales Sector Specialists: Leverage deep market expertise to develop targeted solutions, inform pricing strategies, and accelerate customer adoption Consulting Teams: Create integrated service offerings that combine reporting data with advisory services, addressing customer demand for comprehensive solutions Required Skills and Experience • 10+ years of B2B sales leadership experience, preferably in financial data, market intelligence, price reporting, or related information services • Proven track record of building and scaling new business units, launching products, and entering new markets • Strong background in the energy, commodities, or financial markets • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working across complex matrix organizations • Knowledge of EMEA markets and established relationships within the energy and commodities industry • Strategic thinking combined with strong execution capability and attention to detail Preferred Skills and Experience • Experience working at a major pricing agency, data provider, or leading energy/commodities information company • Familiarity with benchmark development, industry standard-setting, or customer advisory programs • MBA or advanced degree What’s in it for you Our rapidly growing, award-winning business offers a dynamic environment for talented, entrepreneurial professionals to achieve results and grow their careers.
