The role
SSE Airtricity aims to become the largest home retrofitter on the island of Ireland, operating across all market segments, including social housing, private homes, and small businesses, to support customers in upgrading their properties to higher energy-efficiency standards. As the organisation scales to meet this ambition, the Warmer Homes programme represents a core strategic initiative. It is the State’s largest fuel-poverty upgrade scheme, operating nationally and delivering more than 350 deep retrofit home upgrades annually.
Our Project Manager and Quality Inspector is a hybrid operational role designed to provide additional capacity across both programme delivery and quality assurance functions. You’ll support the successful delivery of the Warmer Homes Scheme through project management of retrofit projects, while also providing quality assurance, health and safety oversight, and compliance inspections across the Warmer Homes, One Stop Shop, and Major Projects programmes.

You’ll support the successful delivery of the Warmer Homes Scheme through project management of retrofit projects, while also providing quality assurance, health and safety oversight, and compliance inspections across the Warmer Homes, One Stop Shop, and Major Projects programmes.
You will
- support the management of Warmer Homes Scheme projects from allocation through to completion, including homeowner engagement, contractor management, site inspections, complaint resolution, administration, and reporting
- ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to the required quality standards, and in compliance with SEAI requirements, organisational procedures, and contractor obligations
- undertake quality and safety inspections, ensuring works are completed in accordance with SEAI standards, manufacturer specifications, health and safety requirements, and organisational quality expectations
- operate across a portfolio of over 400 live projects nationally and balance project delivery support with planned and reactive inspection activities
- act as a key link between homeowners, contractors, programme management, and quality assurance functions
- project management experience within construction, retrofit, housing, or energy efficiency programmes
- experience conducting site inspections and quality assurance assessments
- knowledge of retrofit measures including insulation, heat pumps, ventilation, windows, doors, and renewable technologies
- experience monitoring contractor performance and compliance
- knowledge of the Warmer Homes Scheme, One Stop Shop, and Major Projects delivery environments
