We Are Hiring: Architectural Designer / CAD Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Architectural Designer / CAD Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across architectural, construction, landscape, interior, and general CAD projects.

This position is suitable for someone who can take concepts, sketches, measurements, reference images, or client markups and turn them into accurate, professional, and production-ready drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings for residential and commercial projects
• Create floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, and detailed construction drawings
• Develop landscape and site plans, including layouts, grading, drainage, and site details
• Prepare construction documentation and technical drawings
• Create detailed CAD drawings based on sketches, PDFs, measurements, and redlines
• Develop kitchen, cabinetry, furniture, and interior drawings when required
• Produce detailed drawings for manufacturing, fabrication, CNC, laser cutting, 3D printing, and other production requirements
• Create accurate dimensions, annotations, tolerances, and technical details
• Develop 2D drawings and 3D CAD models where required
• Convert concepts and reference designs into manufacturable CAD models
• Work on architectural details, structural-related drafting, and construction detailing
• Revise drawings based on client or project manager feedback
• Maintain organized CAD files and follow professional drafting standards
• Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project deadlines

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of architectural drafting and construction documentation
• Experience with site and landscape plans
• Ability to produce detailed construction drawings
• Strong knowledge of CAD drafting standards, dimensions, scales, layers, and annotations
• Experience creating drawings for manufacturing, fabrication, CNC, laser cutting, or 3D printing
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, sketches, measurements, photographs, and client markups
• Good understanding of materials, construction methods, and practical detailing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills

Experience with one or more of the following will be an advantage:

• Revit
• SketchUp
• SolidWorks
• Fusion 360
• Rhino
• 3ds Max or Blender
• Photoshop
• Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, or similar rendering software
• 3D printing and prototyping
• Furniture and cabinetry design
• Mechanical CAD and product design
• CNC and fabrication drawings

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be able to work across multiple types of projects rather than focusing on only one area of CAD.

You should be capable of handling a project from initial concept and measurements through CAD development, detailed drawings, revisions, and final construction or manufacturing documentation.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience across architecture, construction, landscape/site design, interior design, and technical CAD drafting.
