Role Description In this full-time remote role, medical professionals will provide high-quality clinical care via online video consultations to patients across Portugal. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, offering medical advice and treatment plans, managing prescription renewals, and documenting consultations in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. The role also involves coordinating follow-up care as needed, collaborating with other healthcare professionals on the platform, and maintaining strict adherence to privacy, confidentiality, and data protection requirements. Medical professionals are expected to use Dr.Online’s digital tools effectively, ensure a positive patient experience, and contribute to continuous improvement of telemedicine services.
Qualifications

• Valid medical degree and full professional registration with the appropriate medical authority in Portugal.
• Clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or relevant specialty areas, including remote or telemedicine practice.
• Strong digital literacy and ability to use telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and secure communication tools.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear, empathetic, and culturally sensitive interaction with patients in a virtual setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain professional reliability in a remote environment.
• Fluency in Portuguese; proficiency in English or other languages is an advantage.
• Availability to work full-time, including potential coverage of evenings or weekends as needed to support patient access.
