Job Description

As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites primarily using WordPress and Elementor. You will work closely with other members of our Web Team to create high-quality, visually appealing, and user-friendly websites that meet client specifications.

We’re looking for someone who wants to be a part of a team, coming up with solutions, and who can work efficiently to meet deadlines.

Your work will primarily involve front-end development in Elementor but basic knowledge of the backend is helpful. Website design experience is a bonus, as we value candidates who can contribute to both the visual and technical aspects of projects.

Most of our work is in WordPress, using Elementor, but any experience with Shopify, SquareSpace, or Drupal is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop WordPress websites using Elementor, ensuring high-quality, responsive, and attention to detail.
• Implement custom functionality and features using WordPress plugins, themes, or custom code.
• Optimize website performance, focusing on site speed and responsiveness across various devices and screen sizes.
• Collaborate with designers to provide feedback on designs and development best practices.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of website development, including content placement, typography, branding, and layout.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and best practices for web development.
• Knowledge of Shopify, Drupal, or Squarespace is a bonus.

Core Requirements:

• Proven experience with WordPress and Elementor
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP

Bonus / Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Shopify, Drupal, or Squarespace
• UI/UX or web design background
• Basic SEO knowledge



Type: Full-time Contractor

Location: 100% Remote

Schedule: Flexible hours with 6 hour overlap with US Central Time (UTC-6)
