Web Developer & Digital Security Manager

About the Role: We are looking for a hybrid powerhouse: a Senior Web Developer who is equally passionate about high-performance UI/UX and rigorous cybersecurity. You will be the guardian of Egen’s digital front door and all web properties, along with intranet sites, ensuring our web properties are not only visually stunning but also fortified against modern security threats. Key Responsibilities: Technical operations & maintenance workflow: Manage the technical upkeep of the website, including regular website maintenance, periodic page additions, and content updates. Perform all updates and developments on staging sites before deployment to the live environment. Conduct database optimization and cleanups. Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting, including resolution of file/database issues, broken links, 404 errors, PHP logs, monitoring regular activities, and general compatibility issues. Security & governance: Proactively manage website security, including SSL management, DDoS mitigation, vulnerability scanning, Cloudflare CDN, DNS, caching, and hardening WordPress/PHP environments. Data and disaster recovery management: Oversee the execution of daily full-site backups and management of backup file storage. Provide disaster recovery support to ensure rapid site restoration. Architecture & development: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the website’s architecture using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Trust & compliance integration: Implement and manage global compliance standards, including Cookie consent management, GDPR/CCPA protocols, and the integration of trust-based APIs like Logo.dev (Google Cloud ecosystem) to showcase platform authority. Marketing technology (MarTech) lead: Own the technical integration of MCAE and Salesforce. You will ensure lead-gen forms, tracking code, and data flow between our website and CRM are seamless and secure. Visual excellence: Turn comprehensive layouts/wireframes into responsive, high-performance pages while maintaining a deep understanding of aesthetics (font choices, element arrangement, and brand consistency). Hosting and infrastructure coordination: Serve as the technical point of contact for coordination with the hosting provider for server-related concerns. Performance & SEO: Collaborate with SEO teams to ensure top-tier SERP rankings by optimizing websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility, maintaining a clean code structure. GTM, GA4 & Marketing tracking code management: Manage and maintain Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), conversion tracking, marketing pixels, and other website tracking scripts. Ensure tracking codes are properly implemented, tested, secure, and functioning correctly across website updates and deployments. Technical Requirements & Qualifications: Core skills: Expert knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Security expertise: Deep understanding of web security best practices, SQL injection prevention, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) mitigation, and secure API integrations. MarTech ecosystem: Proven experience with MCAE and Salesforce (additional points if you have handled Salesforce-to-Web integrations). Compliance tools: Experience implementing Cookie Management Platforms (e.g., CookiYes, CookieBot) and managing first/third-party data privacy. Design-to-Code: Ability to convert Figma/Adobe XD wireframes into pixel-perfect, responsive HTML pages. Backup & Recovery: Proven experience implementing and managing reliable backup solutions (e.g., automated daily backups) and executing full disaster recovery procedures. DevOps & tools: Mastery of Chrome Inspector/Firebug and version control tools (Git is mandatory). Background: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or related field. Preferred Certifications (Add-ons): Any certification in Information Security Management or Governance Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist W3 Certifications
