Job Description

This is a remote position.

Role Overview:

The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and launching a professional, mobile-responsive website for Grounded Incremental Coaching (business name subject to confirmation). The website will establish the business's online presence, support upcoming university and partnership opportunities, and provide a centralized platform for course registrations, free resources, and future marketing activities.

The initial priority is to create a polished landing page and the essential website pages, with a structure that is easy for the client to manage, update, and expand independently over time.

Scope of Work:

  • Website design and development: Build a professional, user-friendly website using Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, or another suitable platform that supports future growth.
  • Homepage/Landing page: Display the business name, ABN, professional disclaimer, welcome message, contact details, and social media links.
  • About Me page: Present the founder's professional biography, nursing background of over 30 years, acute rehabilitation experience, clinical excellence, compassionate care, leadership achievements, and coaching focus.
  • Contact page: Create a contact form with name, email, and message fields, configured to deliver submissions directly to the client's business email.
  • Free Resources page: Provide an expandable library for downloadable PDFs, reflection templates, gratitude worksheets, mini-guides, videos, and audio resources.
  • Courses and Registration page: Include course descriptions, schedules, pricing where applicable, and a clear registration button or external booking link. Ensure future courses can be added easily.
  • Resources and Support page: Include relevant mental health and wellbeing resources such as Beyond Blue, Lifeline, Headspace, and other approved support links.
  • Social media integration: Add links to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn profiles.
  • Lead capture and registration support: Where feasible, integrate an email sign-up form, mailing list, and a simple way to collect prospective participant details for future newsletters and outreach.
  • Technical setup: Ensure mobile responsiveness, basic SEO, meta descriptions, relevant keywords, SSL security, and contact-form spam protection.
  • Brand implementation: Apply the client's existing Canva assets and preferred visual identity, including gold script typography, warm earth tones, gold accents, glowing or mystical banner imagery, and soft, calming visuals.
  • Testing and handover: Test website functionality, forms, links, and mobile display; provide a walkthrough or basic instructions so the client can update content independently.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in website development, landing pages, and responsive web design.
  • Proficiency in at least one suitable CMS or website builder, such as Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress.
  • Experience with contact forms, email integrations, registration links, and email capture tools.
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, SSL, website security, and spam protection.
  • Strong design sense and ability to translate a client's branding preferences into a cohesive website.
  • Experience integrating Canva assets and social media links.
  • Ability to build a scalable website that the client can maintain without extensive technical assistance.
  • Good communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
  • A portfolio of relevant websites or landing pages is required.

Tools Required:

  • Website platform: Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, or an agreed alternative.
  • Design assets: Canva.
  • Email and lead capture: Business email and a suitable mailing list or form integration, if required.
  • SEO and analytics: Basic SEO tools and website analytics where appropriate.
  • Communication and project coordination: Email and the client's or agency's preferred communication tools.

Project Details:

  • Engagement: Short-term, project-based engagement
  • Working arrangement: Remote; flexible working hours, with agreed check-ins and deadlines
  • Project timeline: Target completion within 7–14 days, subject to scope, agreed package, and timely provision of assets and feedback

Success Indicators:

  • A professional online presence suitable for prospective clients and university or organizational partners to review.
  • A clear and reliable pathway for visitors to learn about the business, access resources, and register for courses.
  • Working contact and lead-capture functionality.
  • A website that is easy to update and ready for future paid programs, newsletters, and marketing integrations.
