Reporting to: Communications Manager Department: Corporate Services Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term, Full-Time Place of Work: Warrington Place, Dublin 2 Salary: €38,038 - €57,057 P/A (Please note: Typically, an appointment would be made at or near the midpoint of the scale, depending on the successful candidate's relevant experience). ABOUT US Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) is the national organisation representing, promoting and developing co-operative housing in Ireland. Since our foundation in 1973 we have provided over 8,300 homes through homeownership, shared ownership and social rented co-operatives. CHI currently manages over 7,000 homes across Ireland. ROLE OVERVIEW Co-operative Housing Ireland seeks a Webflow specialist on a fixed term project basis to plan and deliver a front-end redesign of our website, while also managing the day-to-day maintenance and ad hoc content uploads to the website. The successful candidate will own the redesign project, liaise with internal teams on functionality, make changes, and manage general upkeep of the website. WHAT YOU WILL DO Website Redesign Project Assess Current Performance: Begin by evaluating Co-operative Housing Ireland’s existing website's performance and user experience. Identify areas that need improvement, such as slow loading times, outdated design, or poor navigation Define Goals and Objectives: Set clear, measurable goals for Co-operative Housing Ireland’s redesign. This could include improving user engagement, decreasing call centre inquiries, or enhancing SEO performance. Align these goals with Co-operative Housing Ireland’s overall business and marketing objectives Understand Co-operative Housing Ireland’s Audience : Conduct research to understand Co-operative Housing Ireland’s target audience's needs and preferences. This will help you design a website that caters to their expectations and improves user satisfaction Plan the Redesign Structure: Create a sitemap and wireframes to outline the new structure of Co-operative Housing Ireland’s website. Determine which sections will remain the same and what changes will be made. This planning phase is crucial for aligning the redesign with Co-operative Housing Ireland’s strategic goals Content Strategy: Audit Co-operative Housing Ireland’s existing content to identify gaps or areas for improvement. Develop a content strategy that includes updating old content, creating new content, and optimizing for SEO. Incorporate multimedia elements like images and videos to enhance engagement Utilize Webflow Features: Leverage Webflow's drag-and-drop editor, customizable templates, and powerful integrations to create a visually appealing and functional website. Webflow allows for easy customization and responsive design, making it suitable for modern web standards Test and Iterate: Before launching the redesigned website, conduct thorough testing to identify any issues. Gather feedback from users and make necessary adjustments to improve the overall experience Launch and Monitor: Once the redesign is complete, launch Co-operative Housing Ireland’s new website and monitor its performance. Use analytics tools to track user behaviour and make data-driven decisions for future improvements Running alongside the project there will be a need to prioritise ad hoc uploads and day-to-day upkeep of the website when major events take place, such as launches or publishing of reports. The tasks included in the general maintenance of the website are: Content Management: Managing and updating content across various CMS platforms, including page creation, templates, and content migration to maximize SEO and site quality. SEO and Analytics: Implementing on-page SEO best practices, monitoring website traffic, user behaviour, and conversion metrics using tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console. Front-End Development: Executing front-end development tasks, managing CMS implementations, and optimizing pages for search and performance. Web Governance and Accessibility: Enforcing web governance and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) to improve user experience and accessibility. Performance Optimization: Conducting site performance audits, implementing optimizations, and ensuring accurate measurement of digital KPIs using tools like Google Tag Manager (GTM). These responsibilities ensure that the website specialist effectively supports the organization's digital health and effectiveness, contributing to the overall success of the web project. General understanding of cross-channel posting from website to social media channels and email platforms would be advantageous. WHAT YOU WILL BRING Essential Requirements: 1+ years working with Webflow with example of time spent on a Webflow specific platform or project. Basic understanding of UX and UI best practices. Basic understanding of GA4. Experience optimising landing pages for specific purposes and audiences. General content editing and auditing skills. Experience with social media and Canva advantageous.
