The ideal candidate has deep retail and channel data fluency, hands-on experience with retail analytics and EDI/POS data platforms, and strong cross-functional communication skills.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining the analytics infrastructure that drives smarter, faster decisions across our wholesale channel — including sell-through reporting, bottoms-up forecasting, and retailer-level inventory planning across key wholesale partners.
Candidates should be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Reporting & Analytics
* Build and maintain account-level sell-through dashboards and performance scorecards for key wholesale partners.
* Leverage SPS Commerce Analytics or comparable retail data and EDI platforms to unify retailer data and surface actionable insights.
* Analyze POS and sell-through data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across retail accounts.
* Monitor and report on weeks of supply (WOS), in-stock rates, inventory health, and other key retail performance metrics.
* Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely reporting across wholesale accounts.
Forecasting & Inventory Planning
* Develop bottoms-up forecasting models grounded in POS data, weeks-of-supply analysis, historical performance, and seasonal trends.
* Establish a weekly process for providing inventory and replenishment recommendations based on retailer performance and demand.
* Partner with the Wholesale Demand Planner to align forecasts with supply chain and operations planning.
* Continuously evaluate forecast performance and identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy.
* Identify potential inventory risks, including stockouts and excess inventory, and proactively recommend solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner closely with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to translate retail data into clear, actionable recommendations.
* Support business reviews by providing retailer-level performance analysis, trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Identify incremental revenue opportunities through in-depth retailer and account analysis and present findings to key stakeholders.
* Support new retailer onboarding by establishing baseline reporting, analytics, and forecasting frameworks from day one.
* Communicate complex data and insights clearly to both analytical and non-analytical stakeholders.
