Windows Server Administrator (44079)

We are looking for a Windows Server Administrator with a focus on virtualization to support a Microsoft server environment in Vienna. The role covers virtualization, administration, operation and monitoring of Windows servers, including deployment, patch management and 2nd/3rd-level support. Very good knowledge of server virtualization with VMware and a completed technical IT education are required.

• virtualization, administration, operation and monitoring of the Microsoft server environment
• software implementation, distribution and maintenance
• deployment and patch management of Windows servers
• 2nd and 3rd-level support
• maintaining accurate documentation and participation in internal projects
• hybrid setup with 2 days per week onsite in Vienna
  
  

🎯 Skills

• completed technical IT training/education (apprenticeship, technical college/HTL, university of applied sciences or university)
• very good knowledge of server virtualization (VMware)

• good and up-to-date knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
• general knowledge of basic infrastructure (server hardware, software, network, storage)
• PowerShell scripting and automation techniques
• ITIL, particularly incident, change and problem management
• team player with the ability to work independently and strong communication skills
