This role in summary

Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Supply Chain Manager opening to join our Supply Chain organization. This position is preferred to be located in Benton Harbor, MI but will consider a remote position.

This team is responsible for implementing Warehouse Management System solutions along with maintaining and improving existing warehouse systems by working through business and system issues and driving enhancements across the Supply Chain organization.

Your responsibilities will include

In this role you will be responsible for understanding operational processes at the RDCs and FDCs to be incorporated into a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) design. Additionally:

• Lead the training strategy and course curriculum design
• Lead a team through a Go Live and Hypercare
• Oversee the development of SOPs, QRGs, training content, training environment and anything else needed to ensure maximum retention of the WMS processes and functionality
• Coordinate and deconflict training plans for Go Lives which includes but not limited to Basics of Infios, Train the Trainer, End User and Remedial
• Develop training metrics to understand if training is on schedule to plan, all tasks completed and if training was successful in decreasing errors/issues during Go Lives and Hypercares
• Learn relevant system configuration processes
• Assist in testing
• Assist in the system design and blueprint phase

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations
• 5+ years experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Order Management
• 3+ years experience in Logistics Outbound processes

Preferred skills and experiences

• Technical/Product Knowledge: SAP. WMS experience is a differential.
• Design Thinking experience.
• Experience with IT interface, integration, system design or system maintenance
• Communication, leadership, organization, project management and change management skills
• Manage through or escalate issues, taking accountability
• Interpersonal skills: Strong collaboration and communication abilities to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
