Job Summary
The Software Administrator works in designing, deploying, maintaining, enhancing, operating and managing the development, test, as well as production environments for all assigned systems.Requirements
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years’ equivalent experience will be considered.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum three (3) years’ technical applications and/or information systems experience. OR applicable Masters in related field with minimum one (1) years' experience.
Healthcare related experience preferred.

Responsibilities
• Applies standard application design principles to create logical and physical application designs to promote efficiency.
• Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify project objectives.
• Deploys and tests software upgrades including maintenance of test plans.
• Follows corporate standards in naming conventions, security, and interface design.
• Maintains project documentation in designated tracking system and changes in program code/scripts using appropriate commenting style and software change documentation
• Writes and/or updates documentation to describe software environment, implementations, and infrastructure.

This position is identified as level three (3).
