The Opportunity

Virtource is seeking a senior Workday HCM Configuration Consultant – Compensation & Benefits to join a major international transformation programme for a global financial services organisation.

The programme is already underway, with the first countries live and the next implementation wave progressing.

This is a hands-on configuration role for someone with deep Workday expertise across Advanced Compensation and Benefits, who can take ownership from design through configuration, testing, deployment and transition to support.

What You Will Do

• Configure and optimise Workday Advanced Compensation and Benefits.
• Translate global and country requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
• Configure Advanced Compensation including:
• merit and bonus plans;
• stock/equity plans where applicable;
• compensation reviews;
• eligibility rules;
• matrices;
• budgets and pools; and
• compensation grids.
• Configure Benefits including:
• benefit plans;
• eligibility;
• coverage;
• rates and contributions;
• enrolment events; and
• employee/dependent rules.
• Configure related business processes, approvals, condition rules and security.
• Support data mapping, testing, defect resolution, cutover and deployment.
• Manage dependencies across Core HCM, Payroll, integrations and reporting.
• Work closely with HR, Reward, Benefits, Payroll and Technology stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

• Strong hands-on experience as a Workday HCM Configuration Consultant.
• Deep practical expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Strong hands-on Workday Benefits configuration experience.
• Experience delivering complex multi-country Workday implementations.
• Strong knowledge of business processes, eligibility rules, security and integrations.
• Experience across testing, cutover and production deployment.
• Ability to translate business requirements into robust Workday configuration.
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
• Fluent English.

Highly Desirable

• Multiple full-lifecycle Workday implementations.
• Global compensation review cycle experience.
• Strong Payroll integration knowledge.
• Workday certification in HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation and/or Benefits.
• Financial Services or other regulated-industry experience.
• Experience with calculated fields, reports, EIBs/data loads and configuration migration.

The Profile We Want

We are looking for a genuine Workday C&B configurator, not a generalist or programme manager.

The strongest candidate will have personally configured and deployed complex solutions across:

Advanced Compensation: merit, bonus, stock, reviews, eligibility, matrices, budgets/pools and grids.

Benefits: plans, eligibility, coverage, rates, enrolment events and employee/dependent rules.

AI-Enabled Delivery
