Location: Remote - This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.
Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $19.23 - $24.03, with full potential base pay range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $19.23 - $28.84. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
Employment Logistics:
The Workers Compensation Associate provides administrative and operational support for the workers’ compensation program. This role assists with claim processing, documentation, reporting, and communication with employees, managers, insurers, and third-party administrators (TPAs).
The position helps ensure workers’ compensation claims are recorded, investigated, submitted, and maintained accurately and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and established processes.

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Your Mission in Motion:
A summary of key responsibilities for the role is outlined below. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.
- Claims intake, processing & compliance: Support the recording, investigation, and reporting of workers’ compensation claims in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; coordinate claim intake, documentation, and submission to insurance carriers and TPAs in a timely manner.
- Claim records & documentation: Maintain accurate claim files and records, ensuring all required documents and case information are complete and current.
- Employee, manager & partner support: Serve as a primary point of contact for injured employees, managers, insurers, and external partners, providing guidance on claim processes, required documentation, and status updates.
- Case communication & return-to-work updates: Communicate case details and necessary information to involved parties, including notifications related to hearings, outcomes, return-to-work status, and work restrictions.
- Claims reporting, trends & program improvement: Conduct periodic case reviews, maintain and update claims databases, generate reports on trends and costs, and identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and reduce risk.

The salary range above represents the national range for this position. The salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at OnTrac, and the actual base salary offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to: Geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, job-related skills and competencies, market alignment, and financial considerations.
