To support our Legal team at our location in Charlottenburg, Berlin, we are looking for you as a Working Student (d/f/m) - Legal & Operations.

About the team:

Our Legal Team is made up of a General Counsel and seven colleagues who support nearly every part of the business with pragmatic advice — spanning contracts, product compliance, disputes, and regulatory matters. As business partners to a diverse and international workforce, we offer genuine insights into platform operations and a collaborative, down-to-earth team culture.
As a member of the team, you will gain practical insight into the work of an in-house legal function and collaborate with colleagues across the business. You will support both legal matters and the processes that help our team work efficiently and consistently.
  • Support the team with the organisation and administration of legal and contract-related processes
  • Assist with the review, preparation and structuring of standard contracts and contract summaries under the guidance of experienced legal colleagues
  • Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries of your findings
  • Maintain contract databases, trackers and other legal tools
  • Support the management of contract workflows, deadlines, approvals and signatures
  • Organise and maintain digital legal files and documentation
  • Help improve templates, processes and internal documentation
  • Support the team with additional operational tasks and projects
  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Law, Business Law, Legal Management, or a comparable field
  • You have a genuine interest in legal topics, business processes and the way a digital platform operates
  • You have first practical experience in a legal department or law firm — particularly in contract administration — is a plus
  • You have a high level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • You have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented working style
  • You are proactive, reliable and structured, with the ability to manage several tasks and deadlines in parallel
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)
  • You are available 15–20 hours/week, with flexibility around exam periods

It would be a plus if you have

  • First practical experience in Legal, Compliance, Contract Management, Procurement or Legal Operations
  • An interest in commercial contracts, data protection, platform regulation or Legal Tech
  • Experience with contract databases, document management systems or workflow tools
  • Experience working in a technology company, start-up or international environment
