Working Student Product Documentation & BI Dashboard (All Genders)

Overview

We are looking for a motivated Working Student to join us on two connected missions: keeping our product documentation clear, accurate and up to date while helping us build the next generation of our internal AI-assisted dashboards. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical writing, data analysis and modern BI tooling alongside your studies.

Your Role

• Maintain and enhance product documentation, including help center articles, user guides and internal knowledge base content
• Work closely with Product, Support and Video Production teams to keep documentation accurate, clear and easy to find
• Support the migration of our BI dashboards from Tableau to a new, self-hosted, AI-assisted dashboard solution
• Help design, build and test new dashboard views and reports and validate them against existing Tableau reports
• Research and help evaluate self-hosted BI tools and AI-assisted development approaches
• Document the new dashboard setup and processes for internal stakeholders
• Support both work streams day to day and pick up ad hoc tasks with the wider team

Your Profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Technical Communication, or a related field
• Interest in technical writing / documentation and/or data & BI topics
• A structured, detail-oriented and reliable working style
• Proficient in SQL
• Comfortable learning and working with new tools, including AI-assisted tools
• Good communication skills and enjoyment of cross-team collaboration
• Strong written & spoken English; German is a plus

Nice To Have

• Experience with Tableau or another BI/reporting tool
• Familiarity with self-hosted BI tools (e.g. Apache Airflow, Metabase, Apache Superset, Grafana)
• Experience with documentation tools (e.g. Confluence, Markdown, Git)
• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g. Python)
• Interest in AI-assisted development tools
