Workplace Consultant

YOUR MISSION

You are an expert in virtualized work environments and the modern workplace. Your primary mission will be to design and deploy Omnissa Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and Microsoft Intune infrastructures for our clients.

There is no daily operational maintenance or ticket management here; your day-to-day work focuses on projects—architectures, migrations, deployments, and audits—and diverse consulting assignments, operating in a hybrid model that combines remote work, our offices, and client sites in Luxembourg. Your responsibilities:

Design and Advisory

• Analyze client needs and design tailored EUC / Digital Workspace architectures (VDI, Azure Virtual Desktop, modern endpoint management)

• Advise clients on technology choices and transformation roadmaps (on-premise, hybrid, cloud)

• Conduct infrastructure audits and provide actionable recommendations

Deployment and Evolution

• Implement and evolve Omnissa Horizon 8 (including Unified Access Gateway) and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops / NetScaler environments

• Create, industrialize, and optimize Windows 10/11 master images for VDI infrastructures

• Deploy and administer Microsoft Intune for Windows, Apple, and Android endpoint management

• Support environment migrations, security enhancements, and optimization, including transitions to Azure Virtual Desktop

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during projects

Knowledge Sharing and Professional Growth

• Produce technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to client teams

• Contribute to standardizing team methods and best practices

• Occasionally participate in pre-sales activities: technical workshops, demonstrations, and support for tender responses

YOUR PROFILE

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 5–10 years of IT infrastructure experience, with proven expertise in End User Computing (IT degree or equivalent experience)

• Hands-on experience administering and implementing Omnissa Horizon 7/8 (formerly VMware Horizon), including Unified Access Gateway

• Expertise in creating and optimizing Windows 10/11 master images for VDI

• Experience administering and integrating Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops

• Practical experience with Microsoft Intune (Windows, Apple, Android)

• Basic knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop and PowerShell scripting

• Experience with hybrid environments or IT transformation projects is a definite asset

• Fluent in French and English
