Role Description This is a full-time Yard Person/Driver role based in Hemmant, QLD, with hybrid work flexibility for selected administrative tasks from home. The role involves preparing, cleaning, and maintaining portable bathrooms and toilets in the yard to ensure they are ready for hire and meet quality standards. The Yard Person/Driver will load and unload units, perform basic checks and minor repairs, and coordinate stock and equipment in the yard. Driving duties include safely transporting, delivering, setting up, and collecting units at customer sites, following schedules and safety guidelines. The position also requires completing simple paperwork or digital records, communicating with the office team, and providing courteous, professional service to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in yard work or general labor, including cleaning, basic maintenance, and safe use of tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license (manual preferred) and safe driving record; experience with towing trailers or similar equipment is highly regarded.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients on-site.
• Good organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to follow schedules, instructions, and safety procedures.
• Comfort with basic administration, such as completing delivery records, checklists, and simple digital or paper documentation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, moving, and setting up portable units in varying outdoor conditions.
• Previous experience in event services, hire equipment, transport, or facilities maintenance is beneficial but not essential.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety, and willingness to learn company processes and standards.
