Role Description The Zonal Head is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing environmental consulting operations within an assigned geographic zone. This position involves managing client relationships, coordinating project delivery, and ensuring that services align with regulatory requirements and sustainability objectives. The Zonal Head will guide consulting teams, review project proposals and reports, and monitor performance against environmental, operational, and financial targets. Day-to-day tasks include strategic planning for the zone, supervising resource allocation, supporting compliance with relevant environmental and water regulations, and promoting continuous improvement in consulting practices. The individual will collaborate with senior leadership to expand the client base, maintain quality standards, and drive sustainable solutions tailored to regional needs.
Qualifications

• Strong background in environmental consulting or sustainability management, with familiarity with environmental and water-related laws and regulations.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills, including experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and coordinating remote work.
• Solid client relationship and stakeholder management abilities, with experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or account management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple projects and deadlines.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
• Relevant academic qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Natural Resources Management, or a related field.
• Comfort working in a remote, technology-enabled environment, with proficiency in standard office and collaboration tools.
• Experience in compliance-driven projects or consulting assignments and a demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and sustainable development.
