Learn more about us at http://www.rickyjoy.com and http://www.drinkplis.com Position Overview As a Zone Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing, retaining, and growing our existing customer base (distributors and key retail stores). Your primary focus will be strengthening commercial relationships, ensuring flawless execution at the point of sale, and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to hit territory revenue targets. Key Responsibilities Account & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for existing distributors and key accounts to drive business growth. Trade Marketing Execution: Implement trade marketing plans, coordinate with merchandisers, manage client portfolios, and monitor inventory levels (Sell-in and Sell-out). Commercial Strategy: Develop promotional plans and incentive programs in partnership with distributors, tracking progress and performance. Team Leadership & Training: Supervise and train field merchandisers to ensure store execution aligns with corporate marketing strategy. Provide product training for distributors' sales reps. Operations & Customer Care: Process purchase orders, oversee new product setups, resolve customer complaints promptly, and handle collection/Accounts Receivable (A/R) management. Market Expansion: Support local trade shows/events and identify opportunities to open new stores through existing distributor networks. Data Integrity: Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer profiles and sales activities in the CRM system. Candidate Requirements Language: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (Required). Experience: 2+ years of experience in Food & Beverage sales within Texas (Retail/CPG focus; NO Food Service/Horeca experience). Channel Expertise: Proven experience selling directly to distributors (buyers), managing retail chain stores, and handling both American and Hispanic accounts. Skills: Strong numerical and sales data analysis skills, experience managing promotional budgets, and a proven ability to lead/supervise teams (Preferred). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Preferred). Mobility: Must be willing to travel extensively within the territory (70% travel).
