Job Brief

We are seeking ten (10) experienced and safety-driven Painter Blasters to join our industrial project team. In this role, you will be responsible for high-pressure abrasive blasting and the application of protective coatings to industrial assets. If you have a strong eye for quality control, hold the required tickets, and are ready for an immediate start, we want to hear from you.

• 💰 Pay Rate: Competitive Hourly Rates (Discussed at interview based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Abrasive Blasting: Perform high-quality abrasive blasting and surface preparation activities across various industrial structures.

• Coatings Application: Prepare surfaces thoroughly and apply specialized industrial protective coatings and paints according to exact project specifications.

• Equipment Operation: Safely set up, operate, and maintain industrial blasting rigs, spray guns, and heavy paint-mixing equipment.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of wet/dry film thickness and surface profiles to ensure all quality standards are strictly met.

• Site Safety: Follow all workplace health and safety protocols, including the correct use of blast helmets, respirators, and PPE.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Painter Blaster within mining, marine, oil & gas, or heavy infrastructure sectors.

• Relevant industrial trade qualifications, blaster/painter tickets, or NACE/ACA certifications (highly regarded).

• Strong knowledge of surface preparation standards (e.g., Sa 2.5, Sa 3) and industrial paint mixing ratios.

• Physically fit and capable of passing a comprehensive pre-employment industrial medical and drug & alcohol screening.

• A strong, demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
