This is a reality for participants in the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Internship Program at AbbVie. As an AbbVie intern, you will participate in a paid 11-week summer program. You will work on meaningful assignments that have a real impact on our business and patients worldwide, while also combining technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving. AbbVie’s worldwide business offers you an opportunity for a variety of potential work experiences that are aligned to a variety of functional areas, including: Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Automation Engineering Cybersecurity Data Engineering Infrastructure Software Engineering The majority of BTS Interns will be placed in Lake County, IL, though there is a possibility of being placed within any U.S. AbbVie or Allergan Aesthetics location. Placements will be based on business need and individuals' preference​. Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, AI or related majors with a minor or concentration in one of the above fields Graduation date between December 2027 – June 2028 Must be enrolled in university the semester following your internship and graduate within 1-year post internship School or work experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications: Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities Previous internship or related experience Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher Benefits and Amenities: Competitive pay Relocation support for eligible students Select wellness benefits and paid holiday / sick time Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: ​ ​The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
