About the Role:
Multidisciplinary collaboration
: Work with a diverse team of specialists, including on-site paediatricians, surgeons, physicians, obstetricians, anaesthetists, and more.
Comprehensive care
: Manage patient care in collaboration with fellow Rural Generalists, Specialist Consultants, General Practitioners, and Allied Health Professionals.
Emergency response
: Participate in a 24/7 roster, including Code Blue emergency calls.
Teaching and mentorship
: Contribute to the training of junior doctors, medical students, and other health professionals.
Continuous improvement
: Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ensure best-practice care for patients.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
Fellowship with ACRRM or RACGP, or eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA.
Experience in managing adult and paediatric emergencies and inpatient services.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
