You can look forward to

You analyse developments and trends in property and motor insurance and derive well-founded recommendations for action

You perform portfolio analyses with a focus on E+S Rück’s business and provide valuable insights for our specialist departments

You develop and enhance actuarial tools, particularly using R, as well as Excel and BI/MicroStrategy environments

You actively contribute to the automation of underwriting processes and help further develop our systems and workflows

You analyse the impact of regulatory requirements, particularly Solvency II, on the German reinsurance portfolio.
You come equipped with
- Successfully completed degree in (business) mathematics, physics, statistics, economics, or a comparable field of study
- Initial professional experience in the (re)insurance industry, as well as knowledge of property and motor insurance
- Actuarial knowledge is desirable, for example through DAV courses, CERA qualification, or a comparable certification; a completed DAV qualification is an advantage
- Knowledge of actuarial calculations and programming in R
- German language skills at C2 level and conversational English
- Willingness to undertake occasional one- to two-day business trips
- You work in a structured and independent manner and stand out through your analytical mindset and your ability to communicate effectively with different audiences
