This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain exposure across the legal assistance sector and to develop administrative skills. The Administrative Officer/Receptionist will be responsible for the provision of a confidential secretarial and administrative support service to a group of Lawyers within the Mount Gambier Office working on criminal, family and civil matters. The role involves greeting clients who attend at Reception, creating and booking appointments, client intake, answering calls received from Legal Services’ switchboard to direct callers appropriately within the organisation and other administrative duties as required. Salary Range $66,442 - $69,504 per annum pro rata plus 12% superannuation and leave loading. Term of Employment Ongoing contract available at the ASO2 classification level. What You Need for Success The ideal candidate will: Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, flexible, conscientious, reliable and enthusiastic and exercise confidence, sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential matters and difficult clients. Strong digital skills and competency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products, the internet, email correspondence and electronic records management systems. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, foster sound working relationships with a range of staff and stakeholders and prepare clear and succinct correspondence.
