What will you do? You will lead, inspire, and stretch the capabilities of students aged 14–19 across a highly personalized, multi-track curriculum. Your workload will feature a focused teaching load of approximately 15–17 one-hour lessons per week . Key Duties & Responsibilities High-Level Instruction: Teach advanced computer science tracks, spanning standard A-level preparation to advanced competitive programming (IOI/IOAI level) and complex software engineering projects. Curriculum Development: Innovate and refine our custom CS tracks, developing teaching materials that push beyond the standard high school syllabus. Rigorous Assessment: Prepare, execute, and mark advanced internal assessments and custom mock exams tailored to elite student performance. Tech Exploration: Champion hands-on experimentation, guiding students through production software development, data science, and AI integrations. Essential Qualifications & Experience Expertise: 10+ years of combined professional teaching and industry software engineering experience. Age Group Experience: Proven track record of successfully instructing and managing students aged 14–19 . Core Algorithmic Strength: Flawless, preparation-free implementation of data structures and algorithms (recursion, binary search, quicksort, Dijkstra’s algorithm, linked lists, and BSTs). Competitive Programming Knowledge: Deep comfort with Olympiad-level complexity analysis and dynamic programming techniques. Modern Development Tooling: Practical experience with AI-assisted development/vibe coding (e.g., GitHub Copilot LLM code generation, and live deployments). Language Proficiency: Master-level capability in Python or C++. Bonus Skills/Experience Comprehensive experience teaching iGCSE, A-level, or International Baccalaureate (IB) Computer Science frameworks.
