Location: Frankfurt, Germany

A leading international technical construction contractor delivering complex projects across the data centre, pharmaceutical, logistics and advanced manufacturing sectors.


Role Overview

We are seeking an Aftercare Manager to support major data centre projects in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will manage post-completion and aftercare activities, ensuring outstanding works and defects are resolved efficiently while maintaining a high standard of client service.


The role will be primarily based in Frankfurt, although travel to other project locations may be required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aftercare activities following project completion and handover.
  • Coordinate the identification, recording and resolution of defects.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the aftercare period.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to complete remedial works.
  • Maintain accurate defect trackers and provide regular progress reports.
  • Ensure remedial works are completed safely and with minimal disruption to live operations.
  • Review warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, and handover documentation.
  • Support final inspections, close-out meetings and the release of retention.
  • Identify recurring issues and share lessons learned with project delivery teams.
  • Ensure all contractual aftercare obligations are completed within agreed timescales.


Experience and Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Aftercare, Defects, Customer Care or Project Management role within construction.
  • Experience working on data centres or other mission-critical projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction handover, defects management and project close-out.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent client-facing, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety requirements within live environments.
  • Willingness to be based in Frankfurt and travel to other locations when required.
  • Strong written and spoken English; German language skills would be advantageous.
