Agentic Field Engineer

Level: L6 Function: Implementation & Service Delivery Location: Saudi Arabia Reports to: Service Delivery Director Matrix: Product & Engineering | Relocation & Project Travel Covered The Role: You are a senior field operator who has lived the realities of construction sites and now wants to apply technology - specifically AI - to solve real operational problems at scale. The Agentic Field Engineer is the forward-deployed owner of AI-driven product implementation,validation, and sustained adoption across the Company’s construction platforms. Embedded on active construction sites, you act as the execution bridge between site reality and engineering - ensuring. AI systems work under real conditions, not just in demos. This role exists to make sure the Company AI delivers measurable outcomes on live projects safer; sites, better productivity, and faster, more objective decision-making. What You Will Do: 1. Own Field Reality → Product Truth • Embed on live construction sites and observe how work is actually executed; • Identify high-impact site problems where AI and automation can replace manual, delayed, or subjective processes; • Validate AI outputs against ground truth and reject anything that does not reflect site reality; • Translate site constraints, edge cases, and workflows into clear, actionable requirements for Product and Engineering; 2. Lead AI Deployment & Validation • Own on-site configuration, calibration, and rollout of AI-enabled systems; • Adapt deployments to harsh, dynamic site conditions (heat, dust, incomplete infrastructure); • Close last-mile gaps between product intent and field execution; • Sign off on deployment readiness only when systems are proven in live conditions; 3. Drive Adoption That Sticks; • Train ISD Project Managers and site leaders on AI-assisted workflows; • Design usage patterns that fit daily site routines - not dashboards that look good but get ignored; • Build trust with site teams by demonstrating tangible operational value; • Actively intervene when adoption degrades or site behavior diverges; 4. Feed the Agentic Platform • Systematically feed field learnings back into Company’s agentic platform; • Influence product roadmap, model behavior, and deployment standards; • Act as the voice of the site inside Product and Engineering discussions; Hard Requirements (Non-Negotiable) • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience on active construction sites; • Proven experience working under live schedule, safety, and commercial pressure; • Background in site engineering, construction management, or field operations; • Comfortable working full-time in real site environments (outdoors, heat, dust, noise); • Demonstrated ability to influence site engineers, foremen, and project managers; • Strong technical literacy across software systems, data platforms, and digital tools; • Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage; Strong Advantages • Experience on mega or giga projects and major infrastructure programs; • Exposure to construction technology, automation, computer vision, IoT, or AI-enabled systems; • Prior role as a site technology champion or digital transformation lead; • Engineering degree (Civil, Construction Management, or related).; Who This Role Is NOT For: • Candidates without real on-site construction experience; • Desk-only engineers or consultants who have not worked live projects; • Pure data scientists or software engineers without field exposure; • Anyone looking for a remote or theoretical AI role; Why Us?
