The practice location will be focused on outpatient care areas. Additional responsibilities and teaching experiences will vary based on the position outline below as well as involvement in special projects. The individual must display maturity, independence, initiative, and strong communication skills. Education: Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency Preferred: Completion of a second-year specialty residency in ambulatory care. Experience: Preferred: 3 years of pharmacy experience in the ambulatory or community setting OR 1 year pharmacy residency Skills: Proficiency with direct patient care Excellent verbal, presentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with other disciplines Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required: Missouri Pharmacist license or eligible for licensure. Required: MTM/MTS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire Preferred: Certification in relevant area of practice within 4 years of starting the position Required: BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
