POSITION TITLE Application Engineer (Sales Engineer)

Position Summary

In this position, you will support customers in the automotive, industrial equipment, and consumer electronics sectors through technical sales activities, product promotion, technical support, and new product introduction initiatives while helping drive market strategy and resolve customer challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical sales activities with customers across the Midwest and Eastern regions
• Visit customer engineering, design, and quality departments
• Promote products and provide technical support
• Respond to technical inquiries from customers
• Review certification and approval-related documentation
• Support new product launches
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to address customer requirements and technical issues
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry
• Conversational Japanese language skills
• Strong communication skills
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience with passive components such as capacitors or other electronic components
• Ability to read circuit diagrams, specifications, and engineering drawings
• Experience or familiarity with the automotive industry and automotive manufacturers

WORK ARRANGEMENT

• Hybrid work environment
• Approximately one remote workday per week
• Business travel required approximately twice per month
  
  
  

SALARY USD90,000-120,000
