About the Role
As a Cleanroom Prototype Technician, you will assemble, test, troubleshoot, and optimize next-generation Atmospheric Wafer Handler (AWH MK9) systems for ASML lithography machines. Working in VDL ETG's Prototype Department, you'll help transition products from prototype to full-scale production while collaborating closely with engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble complex mechanical and mechatronic systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Perform testing, qualification, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve technical issues.
- Improve assembly processes and work instructions.
- Record assembly and test data.
- Support industrialization and production readiness.
- Work in a high-tech cleanroom environment.
Requirements
- Technical qualification (EQF Level 4) in:
- Mechatronics
- Mechanical Engineering
- Or a related technical field
- Experience with technical/mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read technical drawings independently.
- Knowledge of testing and troubleshooting.
- Good English communication skills.
- Proactive, quality-focused, and problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to work in a cleanroom and transition to a future 2-shift schedule.
