Chief Finance Officer Function is looking for a Assistant Finance Business Partner based out of Milton Keynes.
As our Assistant Finance Business Parter, you will also support in gathering data insights for the business unit as well as partnering with the wider Finance Business Partner team to help us achieve our collective goals and enhance consistency in processes across the team
We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
A working knowledge and understanding of GenAI tools (specify Tools used within your Team)
Updating the financial systems, as required, so that the monthly estimates, forecasts, year-end closing estimate and next year’s budget reflects the current business operations
Liaising between the business and Cost Reporting and Planning, Accounting, Transformation teams and line manager to ensure all budget and forecast requirements are captured and challenges are relayed
Supporting the collation of monthly commentary for the end-of-month financial meetings, feeding and facilitating automated reporting where possible
Ensuring that the information available to the lead Finance Business Partner enables insight to be offered to the business unit
Ensuring all finance and purchasing controls are fully documented and operated correctly
Assisting the business with understanding the processes and controls surrounding cost management

Professional Experience
CIMA \ ACCA (or equivalent) qualified, part-qualified/studying or significant experience in working in a finance function (Required)
Education
Degree (Preferred)
Hard Skills
Experience of management accounting fundamentals; month end, planning, forecasting and reporting (Required)
Able to deal with complex issues and undertake bespoke analysis when requested (Required)
Experience of Finance environment (Preferred)
Soft Skills
Experience of handling multiple requests from different stakeholders
Being able to work on your own initiative within defined guidelines to deliver results
Ability to work accuracy, efficiently and to tight timelines
Ability to show initiative and seek out alternate solutions

Salary Range:
£38,200.00 - £57,300.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
