About the role We are currently looking for an Auto Electrician to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will provide auto electrical support across both our underground and surface workshops, performing breakdown and preventative maintenance on mobile equipment. Roster: 7/7 OR 8/6, 12 hours per day (Dayshift only) Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW Travel options Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar. Relocation support is available, along with a residential allowance DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne Qualifications and experience Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology (desirable) Prior experience in underground hard rock mining environments Hands-on experience with: Sandvik DD421 Jumbo & DL421 Longhole Epiroc MT65 Truck CAT R2900G, 980, 950 Normet 1614B, 6605, AGI, shotcrete Volvo/CAT ancillary equipment Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical and hydraulic systems Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence Team-oriented with a positive, inclusive work approach MAKE AN IMPACT, GET RECOGNISED – BE AN AURELIAN At Aurelia Metals, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
