AWS Solutions Architect

Infosys Financial Services is seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade cloud solutions. This role will partner with business, engineering, security, DevOps, and data teams to define target-state architectures and drive cloud transformation initiatives within highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end AWS architecture across application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure layers.
• Design AWS landing zones, multi-account strategies, VPC architectures, IAM controls, and security frameworks.
• Establish architecture standards, integration patterns, API strategies, and cloud governance practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation and support CI/CD automation.
• Partner with Security and Data Engineering teams to ensure compliance, data quality, monitoring, and audit readiness.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical design workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, cost-efficient, and aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Provide technical leadership throughout solution design, deployment, and operational support phases.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Cloud Architecture.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) required.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, KMS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience designing secure, enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, networking, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Cloud migration and modernization experience.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Experience leading architecture governance and design review boards.
