Azure Cloud Security Engineer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 6-8 years.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen the security posture of our Azure cloud platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud security controls while supporting DevOps teams in adopting secure-by-design principles and security best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Strengthen the security posture of Azure cloud environments.
• Design and implement security controls for cloud infrastructure, applications, and networks.
• Configure identity and access management, threat protection, and security monitoring.
• Support incident response and vulnerability remediation.
• Implement Security-as-Code and automate security controls.
• Secure hybrid cloud networking and ensure data protection.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor cloud environments using Azure-native security and monitoring tools.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience securing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong expertise in Azure networking, cloud security, and identity management.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
• Experience implementing security controls in automated deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and cloud security best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
