At PayDepot, we build cutting-edge B2B & B2C fintech products. As we scale, we’re looking for a Backend Developer to help us design reliable, performant, and scalable backend systems that power our analytics and financial services.

We have a modern office in Limassol, and if you’re not in Cyprus yet - we’ll support your relocation and help settle you and your family.

What you’ll do:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and data pipelines that enable business intelligence and analytics
Collaborate closely with frontend developers and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions
Design and maintain data models and schemas for efficient querying and reporting
Integrate with internal and third-party APIs and data sources
Ensure system performance, scalability, and data integrity across distributed environments
Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in code reviews
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve backend systems and data flows

Requirements:

3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework - core of our backend stack.
Proficiency in SQL and relational database design, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
Experience with any NoSQL databases like Redis.
Experience with message brokers such as ActiveMQ
Good English.
