About the Role

Join a six-person engineering team building agentic backend infrastructure for a healthtech company focused on eliminating administrative burden from clinical workflows. This role sits at the core of the product, powering high-volume clinical data processing and the rapid customer onboarding that drives company growth.

What You'll Do

Architect and deploy AI-native backend systems that process high-volume clinical data via API.
Build reliable, secure agentic infrastructure capable of handling clinical information at scale.
Shape product iterations end-to-end by integrating direct customer feedback into development.
Own critical backend infrastructure and drive its technical evolution.
Scale systems and architecture to support rapid customer onboarding and company growth.

What We're Looking For

0 to 1 years of professional backend software development experience.
Proficiency in Python.
Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or a similar tool.
Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts.
A strong version-control history demonstrating active, meaningful contributions.
Currently employed at an established company.
Genuine interest in building impactful products in healthcare.
Ability to work on-site five days per week in San Francisco.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $120,000 to $250,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
