Business Unit: New World Three Parks Job Type: Full time Job End Date: 8/07/2026 Food Trades Assistant – Bakery – Wanaka We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable team member to join our Bakery department and be part of a fast-paced and exciting world of baking. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to grow their skills in a bakery environment. The ideal candidate will have: A genuine interest in baking and food preparation A positive attitude and willingness to learn The ability to work night shifts (5 days per week, 12:00 am – 9:00 am) A good level of English for communication and safety purposes The ability to handle physical work, including lifting up to 20 kg (flour sacks and bakery ingredients) Key responsibilities include: Preparing and baking products following recipes and baker instructions Packing, labelling, and presenting fresh bakery products for sale Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality Providing excellent customer service and supporting the wider team when needed Apply now: Applicants must be New Zealand citizens, residents, or hold a valid New Zealand open work visa.
