Formulate prognoses, set rehabilitation goals, and coordinate safe, effective discharge planning with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team.

Provide education, advice, and support to patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals to promote effective, patient-centred care.

Supervise and support therapy support workers, junior staff, and students, contributing to their learning and development.

Participate in audit, research, service evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practice and service delivery.

Maintain professional and legal accountability for all aspects of practice, ensuring safe and effective care.

Ensure the safe use, maintenance, and monitoring of clinical equipment.

Maintain professional competence through CPD, reflective practice, supervision, appraisal, and ongoing professional development.

Contribute positively to multidisciplinary team working and the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services.
