Are you passionate about integrated behavioral health, physician wellness, and medical education?

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is seeking a licensed Psychologist or Behavioral Health Professional to join our ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program as a Behavioral Scientist Faculty Member.

This unique faculty role combines teaching, mentorship, clinical practice, wellness leadership, and scholarly activity, offering the opportunity to influence both patient care and the development of future Family Medicine physicians.

Highlights

• Shape and mentor the next generation of Family Medicine physicians.
• Lead physician wellness, resilience, and burnout prevention initiatives.
• Practice integrated behavioral health alongside physician faculty and residents.
• Develop and enhance the Behavioral Medicine curriculum.
• Facilitate Balint groups, behavioral health education, and resident coaching.
• Maintain an outpatient clinical practice within a collaborative care model.
• Participate in research, quality improvement, and faculty development activities.
• Join a supportive academic environment within a nationally recognized healthcare system.

Qualifications

• PhD, PsyD, or doctoral degree in Psychology or related behavioral science field.
• Licensed or license-eligible in New Jersey.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Experience in behavioral health, integrated care, academic medicine, or medical education preferred.
• Passion for teaching, mentorship, physician wellness, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Starting salary at $125,000
