About the Role

We are looking for an experienced BMC Helix BHOM AIOps Consultant to provide L2/L3 operational support, consulting, and continuous improvement for BMC Helix customers globally.

The role focuses on BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM) AIOps, Observability, Event Management, Service Health, Topology, and Intelligent Automation, with strong emphasis on platform stability, integrations, troubleshooting, and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for BHOM AIOps platforms in line with SLAs.
• Administer, configure, customize, maintain, and optimize BHOM environments.
• Manage Event Correlation, Situations, Service Health, Topology, Impact Analysis, and Intelligent Automation.
• Configure AI/ML capabilities including anomaly detection, event noise reduction, predictive analytics, event enrichment, and RCA.
• Build and maintain Service Models, Business Services, topology mappings, dashboards, and monitoring policies.
• Troubleshoot platform, integration, customization, and performance issues.
• Manage integrations with BMC Helix ITSM, Discovery, cloud platforms, and third-party monitoring tools.
• Plan and execute upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management.
• Work closely with customers, service owners, stakeholders, and global cross-functional teams.
• Drive adoption of monitoring, observability, and AIOps capabilities.
• Support HelixGPT, Intelligent Automation, and emerging Agentic Operations use cases.
• Contribute to ITIL-based Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7-12 years of experience in IT Operations, Managed Services, Enterprise Monitoring, or Consulting.
• Strong hands-on experience with BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM) / AIOps.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Event Correlation & Noise Reduction
• Situation Management
• Service Health Monitoring
• Service Blueprints & Dynamic Service Modeling
• Root Cause Analysis
• Anomaly Detection & Predictive Analytics
• Business Service Monitoring
• Experience with monitoring policies, event management, service impact management, and operational analytics.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Linux/Unix, and Windows environments.
• Good understanding of cloud, networking, databases, APIs, and enterprise application architectures.
• Experience troubleshooting across application, infrastructure, database, platform, and integration layers.
• Experience integrating BMC solutions with tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and Azure Monitor.
• Strong customer-facing consulting, analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.

Preferred / Advantageous

• BMC Helix certifications, particularly BCA/BCP in TSOM/BHOM.
• ITIL certification and strong understanding of ITIL practices.
• Exposure to HelixGPT, Intelligent Automation, Digital Workplace, and Agentic AI capabilities.
• Experience leading or working with BMC Helix, partner, and customer teams.
