Position: Business and Product Development Specialist – Operations Department

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience:

We are looking for someone with experience in tourism, transportation, operations, customer experience, product development or a similar field. The role involves following daily operations, responding to requests and coordinating with different teams. Experience in improving an existing product, service or operational process would be a strong advantage. The person joining us should be comfortable with a busy workload and able to take action quickly when problems come up.

Education:

A four year bachelor’s degree from a university in Türkiye or abroad is required. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in engineering, computer science, management information systems or another technical field. The role requires enough technical understanding to identify product needs, discuss solutions with software teams and contribute to product development. Degrees in business administration, economics, tourism management or logistics may also be considered if supported by relevant technical knowledge and experience. Graduates of Boğaziçi University, Koç University, Sabancı University, Istanbul Technical University, Middle East Technical University, Bilkent University and similarly strong universities in Türkiye or abroad are welcome to apply.

Problem Solving and Communication:

The role requires clear communication with agencies, customers, international business partners and operations teams. We need someone who follows up closely, pays attention to details and focuses on finding practical solutions. Taking responsibility for a request and following it through until it is resolved is an important part of the job.

Technology and Artificial Intelligence:

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint, is required. Experience with CRM, reservation, operations management or project management software is a plus. We also expect candidates to be comfortable using AI tools in their daily work for research, reporting, data analysis, product development and process improvement.

Language Skills:

Fluent English and a good working knowledge of Turkish are required. Candidates should be comfortable communicating with customers, agencies, business partners and operations teams in both languages. International candidates do not need to speak Turkish at a native level, but they must be able to manage everyday conversations and basic operational communication.

Organization and Planning:

The person in this role will need to manage several requests at the same time, decide what needs attention first and keep the relevant teams informed. Good planning, regular follow up and the ability to make timely decisions are essential.

Adaptability:

Our working environment is fast moving and can be busy at times. We are looking for someone who is responsible, curious, open to learning and comfortable working flexible hours when needed. International candidates do not need to have an existing work permit. A valid residence permit in Türkiye is sufficient at the application stage, and United Technology will handle the required work permit process.

Military Service:
