Business Development Manager

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Riyadh.

The Business Development Manager will own the client relationship from the initial outreach through the successful delivery and collection of the contracted project.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns to identify and engage new and inactive client accounts.
• Prepare tailored pitches and commercial proposals aligned with each client’s requirements.
• Negotiate commercial terms, overcome objections and close initial contracts.
• Maintain sufficient pipeline coverage to consistently achieve new-business targets.
• Own the commercial relationship from the first client interaction through the delivery and financial reconciliation of the first project.
• Act as the primary commercial contact between the client and internal delivery teams during the initial engagement.
• Ensure project expectations, scope, timelines and commercial commitments are clearly communicated.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that could affect client confidence or project success.
• Complete a structured account handover to the assigned Account Manager following the successful completion of the first project.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive RFP responses, proposals, and pricing models.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records covering prospecting activity, opportunities, pipeline stages, and project milestones.
• Provide clear pipeline forecasts, activity updates and commercial reports to the Commercial Director.
• Ensure all client discussions, commitments, approvals, and next steps are properly documented.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
• Proven track record of acquiring new clients and closing new business.
• Previous experience in events, hospitality, staffing, recruitment or experiential marketing is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex and multi-stakeholder sales cycles from cold outreach through contract closure.
• Strong consultative selling, objection-handling, presentation, and commercial negotiation skills.
• Experience using CRM platforms with strong discipline in pipeline management and documentation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly resilient, self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
