In this role, you will partner closely with one of the areas most skilled and reputable non-interventional cardiologist in a shared office setting to evaluate, manage, and support patients across the continuum of cardiology care. Our practice utilizes a strong APP support model designed to maximize your efficiency and focus on patient care. Practice Highlights Full-time, 40 hours per week including 34 patient hours and 6 dedicated administrative hours. Possible 4-day work week available. Manage cardiac follow-up appointments and chronic cardiovascular disease cases. Interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) accurately. Perform thorough surgical cardiac clearance evaluations. Maintain a standard patient volume of 16 to 20 patients per day. Collaborate directly with the attending cardiologist on complex cases. No call coverage. Qualifications Ideal Candidate Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) eligible for licensure in Oregon. 1 to 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in cardiology or internal medicine, including outpatient practice exposure. Strong EKG interpretation skills and sound independent clinical judgment. Efficient, patient-focused, and highly team-oriented. Comfortable managing common cardiovascular conditions independently, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and hypertension, with the ability to order appropriate diagnostic studies and optimize guideline-directed medical therapy. Good with communication and time management.
