What You Will Do This is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a motivated physician to shape the future of a well-respected Department of Medicine. This role offers an approximate 25% administrative component, allowing for a perfect balance of clinical practice and strategic oversight within a robust health system network. Partner closely with subspecialty Division Chiefs to ensure operational excellence, optimal staffing levels, and seamless delivery of care across all major divisions and the residency program. Drive strategic recruitment and retention initiatives across the Department of Medicine and its 14 clinical subspecialties to build a highly stable, world-class clinical team. Build strong, collaborative relationships with the C-suite and hospital administration to align departmental operations with overarching organizational policies, capital budgets, and strategic goals. Monitor and enhance clinical performance, promote progressive and evidence-based best practices, and introduce new medical technologies to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
