Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Indian dishes with consistent taste and quality.
• Plan and cook menu items following restaurant recipes and standards.
• Ensure food is prepared safely and hygienically at all times.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Manage kitchen inventory and reduce food waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow food safety and health regulations.
• Assist in creating new dishes and seasonal menu ideas when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Indian Cook in a restaurant or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine.
• Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Passion for cooking and delivering excellent food quality.
• Relevant culinary qualification is an advantage.
• Experience working in Australia is a plus.
